Wasatch Peaks Ranch is developing and building a new private mountain resort community located in the Wasatch Mountains 30 minutes north of Salt Lake City.
The development encompasses 12,000 acres including 3,000 acres of private ski terrain; a Tom Fazio-designed private golf course; and 460 private homes and homesites being developed under a multi-phase 10-15-year buildout.
This multi-billion-dollar project will offer the most exclusive array of skiing, golf, and a variety of other amenities in a private club setting in the United States.
Dispatcher Role:
Dispatchers are a critical resource ensuring communication is clear and that all dispatching calls are rapid and precise.
Individuals with experience handling calls, solving problems, and relaying information often make ideal candidates.
Dispatchers manage radio traffic and calls for the club's needs.
Responsibilities:
Monitors and controls the movement of patrol (responders) and staff.
Uses computer systems and dispatching equipment to communicate and coordinate activity with first responders, transportation, maintenance, and general radio traffic at the ranch.
Dispatches peripheral assistance, including transportation requests, utility companies, air ambulance, etc.
Maintains proper and concise records of all dispatching activities, including responder assignments.
Monitors status of radio users at the dispatch location.
Ascertains the circumstances of an emergency or incident while relaying the information to responders and supervisors.
Job Requirements:
Ability to maintain composure and self-control amid stressful and emergency situations.
Outstanding communication skills (excellent written and verbal English skills).
Possess strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
Maintain strong ethical conduct.
Articulate an escalating situation clearly, calmly, and precisely.
Ability to understand and interpret technical and medical information.
Read and retain rules, regulations, and instructions.
Provide assistance to distressed individuals and support them in a calm manner.
Possess strong software and technical skills Have a working knowledge of basic emergency procedures to effectively dispatch first responders.
Understand the geography of the Ranch and surrounding areas.
Must be able to interpret maps, radio codes, and data from various sources.
Have excellent written documentation skills.
Education:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent eRUz6dhaE3.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
